Home again and a new CJ

Hi everyone. Well I'm back from hot, sunny Israel and I had a great time. If not for my family I don't think I would have come home. It was wonderful to be served and not have to do any housework or deal with whining kids for a while. But honestly I am truly glad to be back. It's nice to go away and nice to come back to your own bed and shower.
Meanwhile over at UKS I've somehow agreed to host a Circle Journal. My theme is things I wasnt to do before I die and here are some pictures and details of my effort
This is the front cover of my CJ. I used the luscious velvet ensemble collection from Kaisercraft and the small epoxy alphas are ancient. I have no idea what make they are. I used my bind  it all with brown O wires to bind. In the past I used to send my CJ's unbound but I always found they came back with one or more torn holes so this time I decided to bind it beforehand even though it does make the pages slightly more difficult to handle.

The inside front cover features a tag which I distressed and stamped. First I stamped my image, then I made a mask of it, covered the stamping and distress inked it. I dropped some water on the ink to disperse the colours and finally I removed the mask and added a stamped quote. As you can see I added some of my fave Tim Holtz products and some more ancient stash which I am trying to use up.
Here is my welcome page which for some reason insists on lying on its side. The paper is Tim Holtz and the instructions are typed on acetate. Some ideaology wings, acrylic paint dabbers and some dug out mesh and brads complete the page
Here is an introduction. Reasons that I chose this theme and some of the stuff I want to do before I die. I tried to give it a personal feel, so handwrote on this page. Again the alphas are very old and I jazzed them up a bit with paint dabbers
One of my dreams is to go on Safari. I just love the grace with which wild animals move. Each one is so unique and amazing to watch. I used the new Bo Bunny Zoology collection for this page and had loads of fun cutting tearing and sticking
This picture also insists on lying the wrong way. It's a close up of my page I took some images and a muse token which I suspende on a tim holtz link chain thingy pinned to the ribbon on my page
My journalling is a rub off which I rubbed onto acetate and then cut out ao it remains transparent. The rub off is also from the zoology collection and I also punched a hole in it and hung it on the chain.
Another one of my dreams is to learn to play an instrument. Now bearing in mind that I sing completely flat and can't tell one note from another this would be quite an achievement. My children beg me not to sing as soon as they can start talking. In fact my son's first sentence was ''Mummy, please be quiet!''
Again I used the velvet ensemble collection and wrote my journalling on a little musical tag.

Below is my sign in page. Iused some more Tim Holtz stash and some old, old brown organza ribbon.

These alphas are ideaology make it yourself epoxy alphas. I hung each one from a TH safety pin onto a TH chain which I pinned with some making memories garment pins to the brown ribbon. I bought these alphas ages ago and never really knew where to use them, so when I came across them I thought now would be the perfect opportunity

And here are the tags which I made for my two pages. My journal has now been sent to the next person on the list and I can't wait to see what they all come up with.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. See you all again soon
