This is just a quick post from me before I leave for my holiday. I'm going to hot, hot sunny Israel for 10 days. I can't wait to see the sights and pray at all the holy places of our forefathers. An added bonus is that my son is studying there, so I'll get to spend some time with him. Gotta run now, I've a plane to catch. So Au revoir and see you all when I get back at the end of the month

The day sort of just disappeared today. I really didn't do much except the dreade housework. On the up side my daughter was here today with her little ones and they cheered me up no end. Tzivi's leg is in a cast from the thigh to her toes, but that didn't deter her. As soon as she arrived she was in my garden and back on the trampoline cast and all. I think we adults are more traumatised by the whole incident than she is. Anyway hopefully it'll be coming off on Monday and she'll only need a knee support for the next couple of weeks. I managed to get the little Madam to pose for some pics in her cast, but couldn't get any of her on the trampoline. Enjoy them and thanks for visiting

Hi everyone. It's nice to see you all again. I have a new project to show you which is perfect for both my hobbies. I made this nifty little sewing box from a Laura Denison kit. You can check out her blog at Follow the paper trail. She does some absolutely amazing stuff. Anyway, here it is; a place where I can keep all my sewing bits and bobs lovingly hand crafted by little ol' me.
This is a top view where you can see the lid and some needleworky embellishments. The rest of the pics which follow are different views showing all the compartments, knobs and decorations. I'm not sure which paper collection was used, it all came with the kit. But all the other bits are Tim Holtz whose stuff I absolutely adore.
